Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how blitzrig.com (the "Site") uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet or smartphone) when you visit a website. Cookies allow the site to recognise your device, remember your preferences and choices, measure audience, and — where you allow it — display and personalise advertising. Similar technologies (such as local storage, pixels and tags) may be used for comparable purposes; references to "cookies" in this policy include those technologies.

Categories of cookies we use

  • Strictly necessary storage: required for the Site to function (for example, to remember your consent choice or keep the Site secure). It does not require your consent and is not affected by the consent banner.
  • Audience measurement (analytics) cookies: help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. They are set only where the law requires your consent.
  • Advertising and personalisation cookies: used by our advertising partners to serve ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance and — with your consent — personalise the ads you see.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties, in particular:

  • Google (AdSense and advertising partners): for serving, measuring and personalising ads. Learn more in Google's overview of how it uses data and Google's advertising policies.
  • Adsterra: display advertising network. Its banner script only loads after you accept advertising cookies, and may use cookies and browser characteristics to serve and measure ads. See Adsterra's Privacy Policy.
  • Analytics provider: Google Analytics.
  • Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram): where the Meta Pixel is enabled through Google Tag Manager, to measure the effectiveness of Meta advertising and show relevant ads. The pixel only loads after you accept advertising cookies. See Meta's Privacy Policy and Meta's Cookie Policy.

These third parties are responsible for their own cookies and processing, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

Cookies and technologies used

The table below lists the main cookies and similar technologies used on the Site. It is provided for transparency and is kept up to date; exact names and durations set by third parties may vary.

Advertising and analytics cookies are only set after you give consent via the banner (Google Consent Mode v2 default is "denied" until you accept). Third-party tags, including the Meta Pixel, are configured to wait for that consent.

Managing your consent

When you first visit the Site, a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies (analytics and advertising are treated together). Strictly necessary storage is always active. We store a record of your choice so we do not ask again on every visit.

Withdrawing or changing your consent

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the button below, which erases your saved choice and shows the consent banner again. You can also clear your browser's site data for blitzrig.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you refuse cookies, delete existing ones, or notify you when a cookie is set. Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect how the Site works. Instructions are available for:

Cookie lifetime

Cookies are either session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (which remain for a defined period). The lifetime of each cookie depends on its purpose and provider, and generally does not exceed 14 months for consent-based cookies. Your consent choice is stored in your browser until you reset it or clear your browser data.

As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. Links to Amazon on this Site carry our Associates tracking ID, and Amazon may set its own cookies when you follow one. See Amazon's own privacy notice for how it handles your data.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
