Verified, but not a clear buy at this price.

I keep a running spreadsheet on this one because it moves around so much, and I want to be straight with you up front: the $230 price (down from $270) I'd flagged for the fabric TC100 Relaxed was real, but it was tied to Amazon's "surprise" Gaming Week sale, which ran April 27–May 4, 2026. That window closed over four months ago. If you came here expecting to still catch it at $230, I can't confirm that — and I'm not going to dress up a stale number as a live deal.
Here's the honest current state as of today. Corsair's own store has the fabric Black/Black version (the one pictured here) sitting at its regular $269.99 list price with no active discount I could verify. That's the same $270 baseline the Gaming Week deal was cut from, so no, it hasn't gotten cheaper since — if anything it's back to square one.
There is a genuine live discount right now, just not on this exact SKU: the leatherette TC100 Relaxed is marked down to $179.99 (from the same $269.99 list) on Corsair's site, and third-party listings have put it in the $199.99 range. If you don't care about fabric breathability and just want the chair's recline and pillow setup for less, that's the better buy today.
Worth noting for anyone tracking this chair like I do: it's been discounted constantly over the past year — Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Prime Day, a Spring sale, and this Gaming Week event have all knocked $50–$120 off at various points, with sightings as low as the $147–$170 range during the deepest Prime Day cuts. That's a good sign for patience, a bad sign for buying at full price. This chair essentially never stays at $270 for long.
Bottom line: Skip it at full price. The $230 Gaming Week deal is dead, and paying $269.99 for the fabric version right now is paying MSRP for something that goes on sale almost every retail event. If you need a chair this week, grab the discounted leatherette version instead. Otherwise, wait — Black Friday is coming, and based on this chair's history, it'll almost certainly beat $230 again.
